CFA Level 1 pass rates falls๐ปto 35%!! Why do people fail CFA?Having successfully cleared all three levels in my first attempt, I wanted to share some strategies that proved invaluable to me:โ No Rote Memorization:This exam isn't your typical memory test. It's about understanding concepts. Ditch rote memorization and focus on grasping the underlying principles. Your comprehension will be your key to success.โ Practice questions & more questions:The syllabus is vast, and time is limited. Instead of trying to cover everything, prioritize practice. Engage with a plethora of questions (MCQs) to reinforce your learning. The more exposure you have, the more confident you'll become.โ Make Notes:Call me old-fashioned, but note-taking played a pivotal role in my success. It not only helped me remember crucial points but also served as a tool to solidify my understanding. Craft your personalized study aids to streamline your learning.โ Engage in Discussions:Learning is not a solitary endeavor. Connect with fellow CFA candidates, engage in discussions, and share insights. This collaborative approach not only keeps you motivated but also provides a wealth of diverse perspectives.๐ Looking for personalized guidance? Schedule a 1:1 detailed call to strategize your study plan or address any queries. Check my availability here: https://lnkd.in/dfQA9iyX๐ Interested in CFA Prep Materials and my personal notes? Drop your email in the comments, and I'll happily share them with you! ๐๏ธ๐ง#cfa #cfaprogram #cfalevel1 #cfalevel2 #cfainstitute #cfaexam #financejourney #studytips

Whether itโs for Level 1, 2 or 3, the right review provider can make or break your exam journey. Look for providers who agree to follow the CFA Institute guidelines and standards in their review offerings as well as communication with candidates. The CFA website offers a list of review providers whose instructors are CFA Charterholders and meet certain criteria such as updating their curriculum annually. Don't pick a provider who has the CFA institute logo on their website โ the CFA does not allow this and itโs an instant red flag.Visit LevelUpBootcamps.com for more information on how to turbocharge your CFA exam prep. CFAยฎ Program: Last Moment Exam TipsOne honest advice I have for all candidates is to solve mock papers before the exam. It will give you a simulation of the real exam. Some Tips1) Don't be under the pressure to score. Students ask me what would be a good score. My answer would be to focus on correcting your mistakes at this stage. More the pressure of scores, more the chances of messing up under that pressure.Infact, you should be happy that mistakes are happening right now so that those mistakes aren't repeated in the exam.2) Time yourself. Solve all the mock questions but time yourself so that you come to know about time management.3) Back in 2017 when I had taken level 1 exam, questions were segregated subject wise so I could start off with my comfort zone. Unfortunately, now the questions are jumbled up, so don't waste time sorting for eg, FSA questions first and then solving those.4) In the last 1 month, focus should only be on solving as many questions as possible. Don't sit to read or learn anything new. Whatever you have done, revise properly.5) Take frequent breaks. Quality>Quantity. 6) Eat healthy. ๐ and ๐ can wait for a month. 7) Don't talk to friends and strangers in the exam hall because all that you are going to do is discuss about the exam which will create undue stress.8) Check whether passport name matches with the name mentioned on CFAยฎ website. 9) Take 2 calculators to exam for safety. What if one suddenly stops functioning? 10) Avoid drinking too much water during the exam. If you want to go to pee, your timer will be on which would waste your time. Anything you'd like to add? Follow me (Mihir Dedhiya, CFA, CA) for more such insights on finance and CFAยฎ Program.#cfa #cfaprogram #cfaexam #cfainstitute #cfalevel1 #exams

Starting you CFA Journey in 2024 ? Don't miss these suggestions! To ace CFA Level 1, follow these key steps:1. Start Early: Initiate your preparation well in advance, preferably months before the exam. Even dedicating a few hours on weekends initially can give you a significant edge.2. Use Schweser Notes: Make Schweser Notes your primary study material. They are comprehensive, covering all necessary concepts efficiently, saving you time compared to the official curriculum.3. Consider Coaching: While not mandatory, coaching can be highly beneficial. Formal classes save time, make complex concepts more manageable, and provide direct access to knowledgeable instructors for doubt clarification.4. Implement the 333 Rule: Follow the 333 Rule โ read Schweser Notes three times, take a mock test after each reading, and simulate the exam experience with three full-day mock exams. This proven method significantly enhances your chances of success.5. Stay Physically Active: Incorporate regular physical activity into your routine. Just 35 minutes of daily exercise can boost retention power by 20-30%, making your study sessions more effective. Physical activity also helps maintain focus and calmness during the challenging preparation phase.By adopting these strategies, you'll increase your confidence and set the foundation for success in the CFA Level 1 exam.CFA InstituteFollow Jay Monga for more such content!#CFALevel1 #SuccessStrategies #CFAExamTips #cfa #linkedin #finance

CFA is in the list of the Top 10 Toughest exams of the world. Donโt take it lightly. The most common mistake which students make is to consider the CFA exam easy which makes them lack preparation.Donโt take this risk. It can cost you another attempt. Here are a few things you should do in this journey:-[1] Know the SyllabusThis is the most important thing. Before studying for the syllabus, study the syllabus. You should know the topics and their weightage really well.[2] Mark your Weak AreasMark the topics or subjects in which you think you are weak or require extra practice. Then put more effort into them and try to excel in those areas.[3] Use Calculator from the BeginningStart using and practicing the Financial calculator from the very beginning so that you can get comfortable with it.[4] Allocate Proper timeAllocate fixed time daily and on weekends and stick to it. Sitting every day in the same place and at the same time for studies improves the efficiency of learning.Follow these things and no one will be able to stop you from clearing the exam in the very 1st attempt. Ready to elevate your CFA | FRM journey? Fintelligents and me are just a tap away ๐กFollow Ganesh Nayak for more.

This was my go-to for mastering the concepts. Sanjay Sirโs teaching style made even the toughest topics digestible. The video lectures saved time and clarified crucial points in an easy-to-understand way.2. ๐๐๐ก๐ฐ๐๐ฌ๐๐ซ ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฅ:Schweser notes are concise and perfectly designed for those who prefer efficient studying.
