Encinitas library to launch Poetry Bomb
ENCINITAS —- Poet and actor S. A. Griffin will launch ThePoetry Bomb Couch Surfing Across America Tour of Words 2010 with akickoff event at 2 p.m. April 10 at the Encinitas Library, 540Cornish Drive. As part of National Poetry Month, the celebrationwill invite audience members to read one poem of their owncreation, two minutes or less, and to contribute their poem to thePoetry Bomb. The Poetry Bomb is a former Vietnam-era U.S. militarypractice bomb that has been converted into an object filled withpoetry from around the world.
