The ice dancer posted a carousel of photos to her Instagram page with the caption, “Some snaps from my favourites folder from a few weeks back.”
The series included some pictures from a beach vacation with Rielly, including a mirror selfie where Virtue appears to be pregnant. In the last photo, she shows off her bump in a blue bathing suit on the beach.

The post amassed many congratulatory comments, including ones from Skate Canada, Canadian entrepreneur Arlene Dickinson and Canadian Olympic ice dancer Kaitlin Hawayek.
Virtue and Rielly, who remain largely out of the spotlight, revealed earlier this year that they were married. They celebrated their nuptials in two private ceremonies — one in Toronto and another in Tuscany, Italy, HELLO! reported.
Virtue and the other half of her ice dancing duo, Scott Moir, were inducted into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2023. She called it an “incredible honour,” according to the Canadian Press.
“It’s so exciting and moving and overwhelming. You know, now that we’re a few years post retirement, you don’t think of the accolades coming in the same way,” she said.
“So to be recognized for our accomplishments in sport and to have the benefit of having a little bit of perspective on our career is so delightful.”
